My first blog ever

Finally I am so happy that I have cracked writing a blog and found a simple blog address to record an account of my forthcoming trip to Cambodia. This blog is for family, friends and supporters to follow my work as a volunteer teacher with the Ponheary Ly foundation in Siem Reap.

Thoughts of your generosity, the warm support and encouragement, the practical advice and the very significant fund-raising activities you have undertaken will sustain me through the challenges ahead. I hope that I will be able to communicate effectively and share my experiences of the people, life and culture in Cambodia.

I will be leaving Ireland on the 6th of February - so until then, Au Revoir!
